Filtration services we provide
Media filter cabinets
A four- or five-inch pleated filter in a sealed cabinet at the return. More surface area means better filtration with less resistance to airflow, and it only needs changing a few times a year.
MERV ratings in plain terms
MERV is a scale for how small a particle a filter catches. Low numbers stop lint and large dust. Mid-range catches pollen, pet dander and most household dust. Very high ratings can restrict airflow on a residential system, so we match the rating to your equipment.
Filter rack upgrades
Replacing a flimsy one-inch slot with a proper rack or cabinet so air goes through the filter instead of around it.
Whole-home options
Where it makes sense, we can add electronic air cleaners or other whole-home filtration to the duct system. We will tell you honestly whether your situation calls for it.
Filter changes with maintenance
Filters are checked and changed during every AC tune-up and heating check, and we show you how to do it between visits.

Usually it is a media cabinet and the right MERV rating. We give you a firm price.

Install
The cabinet is cut into the return, sealed, and fitted with the first filter. It is often done during a tune-up or equipment install.
